In accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Markos was issued this public announcement to inform affected individuals about a recent personal data breach. 

Nature of the Data Breach
We regret to inform you that a personal data breach occurred, involving unauthorized access to certain personal data. The breach affected approximately 4000 individuals, and the compromised data includes the following categories:
- email addresses, names, and sensitive business correspondence. 

The estimated number of affected records is approximately 4000.

MARKOS specializes in fiberglass-reinforced composites, based on more than 30 years of experience in design, construction and fabrication. The company was founded in 1991 as a realization of an ambitious dream of two shipbuilding engineers - Bernardyn Marciniak, M.Sc. and Cezary Koseski, M.Sc.

Since 2001, MARKOS' shareholder has been one of the company's main, long-term customers, the well-established German shipyard Fr. Fassmer Ltd. In June 2024, Axopar Holding became the majority shareholder of MARKOS.
